About Neap

One pair of ears, turned into tools.

I'm Amit. I run Low Tide Studio and I mix records for a living. Neap is the company where I take the methods I lean on every day — how I pick a reference, how I read a room — and shape them into plugins other people can use.

It is not about replacing your taste or your ears. It is about making the listening sharper, faster, and more deliberate.

The Company

It starts with a simple belief: better references make better records.

Low Tide Studio works from the practical side of production — choosing references, checking low end, matching energy, finding what is masking, hearing what changed, and knowing when the room is lying.

Neap turns those repeatable methods into plugins. The goal is not to automate the decision. It is to give you a cleaner look at the thing you are deciding about, so the call you make is your own.

The Low Tide Studio room
The room where it all started

Built in a real room, on real records.

Nothing here is theoretical. If a tool does not earn its place on an actual session, it does not ship. That is the whole filter.

Which also means Neap grows slowly and on purpose — one honest tool at a time.

Values

Tools should help you listen, not distract you from listening.

Musical First

Tempo, key, groove, credits, and context matter before any meter does.

Practical Detail

Every feature answers a real studio question — from low-end balance to vocal width.

Ear Led

Visual feedback helps, but the final call happens through comparison and listening.

Try the tools, or hear the next one first.
