About Neap
I'm Amit. I run Low Tide Studio and I mix records for a living. Neap is the company where I take the methods I lean on every day — how I pick a reference, how I read a room — and shape them into plugins other people can use.
It is not about replacing your taste or your ears. It is about making the listening sharper, faster, and more deliberate.
— Amit, Low Tide Studio
The Company
Low Tide Studio works from the practical side of production — choosing references, checking low end, matching energy, finding what is masking, hearing what changed, and knowing when the room is lying.
Neap turns those repeatable methods into plugins. The goal is not to automate the decision. It is to give you a cleaner look at the thing you are deciding about, so the call you make is your own.
Nothing here is theoretical. If a tool does not earn its place on an actual session, it does not ship. That is the whole filter.
Which also means Neap grows slowly and on purpose — one honest tool at a time.
Values
Tempo, key, groove, credits, and context matter before any meter does.
Every feature answers a real studio question — from low-end balance to vocal width.
Visual feedback helps, but the final call happens through comparison and listening.
