Every Neap build, in one place.

Six plugins and a tray app ship today, every one of them for macOS and Windows. The macOS installers are signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarized, so they install without an argument from Gatekeeper.

Pick your platform.

Every download is the full plugin — no demo period, no licence file. Install it, rescan your plugins, and it's there.

01 · Reference

Neap Mixer

Find a reference that actually fits the track, level-match it to your session, then listen to one frequency range at a time.

macOS 0.3.2 · .pkg · 7.6 MB
  • VST3
Download for macOS

  • Universal: Apple Silicon and Intel.
  • macOS 11 or newer on Apple Silicon, 10.13 or newer on Intel.
  • No Audio Unit yet, so Logic Pro and GarageBand can't see it.

  • VST3
Download for Windows
  • Unzip, then run Install-Mixer.cmd — one admin prompt.
  • 64-bit Windows 10 or 11.
  • Not code-signed yet, so SmartScreen warns the first time.

02 · Room

Sounds Good

Map what your room and speakers do to what you hear — using only your ears, no measurement mic — then correct it. Two downloads: the plugin for your DAW, and a tray app that corrects everything the machine plays.

Latest 0.2.1 5 Aug 2026

Correct — the plugin

Runs in your DAW on the monitor path, so the correction is there while you mix.

macOS 0.2.1 · .pkg · 7.1 MB
  • VST3
  • Standalone
Download for macOS
  • Signed, notarized installer.
  • Universal: Apple Silicon and Intel.
  • No Audio Unit, so Logic Pro and GarageBand can't see it.
Windows 0.2.1 · .zip · 3.4 MB
  • VST3
  • Standalone
Download for Windows
  • Unzip, then install the VST3 — one admin prompt.
  • 64-bit Windows 10 or 11.
  • Not code-signed yet, so SmartScreen warns the first time.
Systemwide — the tray app

One device in, the correction, another device out. Point your system output at it and everything the machine plays is corrected — references, playlists, a mix someone sent you.

macOS 0.2.1 · .pkg · 3.4 MB
  • App
Download for macOS
  • Signed, notarized installer — lands in Applications.
  • Universal: Apple Silicon and Intel.
  • No DAW involved; it sits between your system output and your speakers.
Windows 0.2.1 · .zip · 1.7 MB
  • App
Download for Windows
  • Unzip and run it — nothing to install.
  • 64-bit Windows 10 or 11.
  • Not code-signed yet, so SmartScreen warns the first time.

Prefer not to install anything? Sounds Good runs in the browser too — the same sweep, the same flags, the same exported preset.

03 · Roll

Happy Accident

Roll the cube and it picks a plugin you already own at random, loads it on a random preset, and level-matches it so the surprise never arrives louder.

Latest 1.1.1 21 Aug 2026

macOS .pkg · 26.5 MB
  • VST3
  • AU
  • Standalone
Download for macOS
  • Signed, notarized installer — pick the formats you want on the way in.
  • Audio Unit included, so Logic Pro and GarageBand see it too.
  • Universal: Apple Silicon and Intel. macOS 10.13 or newer.
Windows .zip · 7.8 MB
  • VST3
  • Standalone
Download for Windows
  • Unzip, then run Install-Happy-Accident.cmd — one admin prompt.
  • 64-bit Windows 10 or 11.
  • Not code-signed yet, so SmartScreen warns the first time.

Happy Accident draws its interface from neap.cloud, so the machine running it needs an internet connection for the panel to appear.

04 · Chain

Rack

A chain of up to eight of your own VST3 effects, with the output peak held equal to the input peak — so what you A/B is the sound of the chain, not the loudness of it.

Latest 1.2.1 21 Aug 2026

macOS .pkg · 48.1 MB
  • VST3
  • AU
  • Standalone
Download for macOS
  • Signed, notarized installer — pick the formats you want on the way in.
  • Audio Unit included, so Logic Pro and GarageBand see it too.
  • Universal: Apple Silicon and Intel. macOS 10.13 or newer.
Windows .zip · 13.5 MB
  • VST3
  • Standalone
Download for Windows
  • Unzip, then run Install-Rack.cmd — one admin prompt.
  • 64-bit Windows 10 or 11.
  • Not code-signed yet, so SmartScreen warns the first time.

Rack hosts the VST3 effects already installed in your system VST3 folder. Instruments are left out, and so are Rack and Happy Accident themselves.

05 · Loudness

Win Win Saturation

A reorderable crest-reduction chain — fast comp, slow comp, upward comp, saturation, limiter, clipper — where each module says how many dB of crest it actually took, so reordering is something you can see rather than guess at.

Latest 1.2.1 18 Aug 2026

macOS .pkg · 14.5 MB
  • VST3
  • Standalone
Download for macOS
  • Signed, notarized installer — the plugin and the standalone are stapled individually, so an installed copy validates offline.
  • Universal: Apple Silicon and Intel. macOS 10.13 or newer.
  • No Audio Unit, so Logic Pro and GarageBand can't see it.
Windows .zip · 6.7 MB
  • VST3
  • Standalone
Download for Windows
  • Unzip, then copy the VST3 into your system VST3 folder.
  • 64-bit Windows 10 or 11.
  • Not code-signed yet, so SmartScreen warns the first time.

Auto-gain is global and peak-referenced, so reordering the chain or swapping an algorithm changes the character without changing how loud it is — which is the only way a six-module chain stays legible.

06 · Capture

Namaste

A TONE3000 client for your DAW: chain several NAM captures and impulse responses, with a real library for the ones you already own and in-plugin search for new ones.

Latest 0.2.2 23 Aug 2026

macOS .pkg · 16.2 MB
  • VST3
  • AU
  • Standalone
Download for macOS
  • Signed, notarized installer — pick the formats you want on the way in.
  • Audio Unit included, so Logic Pro and GarageBand see it too.
  • Universal: Apple Silicon and Intel. macOS 10.13 or newer.
  • On Intel it needs AVX2 — a 2013 Mac or newer. Apple Silicon is unaffected.
Windows .zip · 6.3 MB
  • VST3
  • Standalone
Download for Windows
  • Unzip, then run Install-Namaste.cmd — one admin prompt.
  • 64-bit Windows 10 or 11, on a CPU with AVX2 (2013 or newer).
  • Not code-signed yet, so SmartScreen warns the first time.

This is a first release and it is early — the engine, the library and the chain are built and tested, and the interface will keep moving. The neural modelling core is compiled for AVX2 because inference speed is the whole product, which is why the Intel requirement is a real limit rather than a formality.

After The Download

Two minutes, then rescan.

macOS

  1. Double-click the .pkg and follow the installer.
  2. Choose the formats you want, where the installer offers a choice.
  3. Enter your admin password — the plugin folders are shared by every account on the Mac.
  4. Open your DAW and rescan plugins.

Everything installs to /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins, the folders your DAW already scans. Nothing is dragged anywhere by hand and Gatekeeper stays quiet, because the plugin and the installer are both signed and notarized.

Windows

  1. Unzip the whole download first — running the installer from inside the zip won't work.
  2. Double-click the Install-*.cmd file sitting next to the plugin.
  3. SmartScreen may warn: choose More info, then Run anyway.
  4. Approve the admin prompt, then rescan plugins in your DAW.

The installer copies the .vst3 into C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\. You can copy it there yourself instead — the result is identical. Windows builds aren't code-signed yet; that certificate is separate from the Apple one and isn't in place.

Something not showing up?

Close the DAW before installing, then rescan rather than restarting alone — most hosts only look for new plugins when asked. If it's still missing, mail me what you installed and which DAW you're on.
