macOS AAX host testing

The macOS AAX plugin is PACE-signed and Apple-signed, and the installer that carries it is notarized. Loading it in Pro Tools on macOS has not yet been verified on the build machine.

Windows build is unsigned

Affects: Windows installer and standalone app.
Status: open.
Workaround: click More info, then Run anyway. Windows installation help.

The macOS build is fully signed and notarized and does not have this problem.

Resolved

Audio Unit and AAX had to be copied by hand

Fixed on 12 October 2026. The 1.4.1 macOS installer now installs the Audio Unit and AAX along with VST3 and Standalone. Earlier installers, including the first 1.4.1 one, did not. If yours does not offer Audio Unit and AAX in its Customize step, download it again. The separate AAX + AU disk image is no longer offered. The Audio Unit, for Logic Pro and GarageBand, passed Audio Unit validation, and the installer is signed and notarized.
